Andrey Portnov, advisor to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, was executed in broad daylight in front of his children’s school with a shot to the neck and head. The assassination took place in the Spanish capital Madrid. According to the Spanish newspaper El País, the killer waited on a motorbike until Portnov had taken his children to school. The Ukrainian was finally executed in the street with two fatal shots – the perpetrator fled on the motorbike and has not yet been caught. Social media speculate that the murder was carried out by an agent of the Ukrainian secret service.
Portnov was considered a critic of the current Ukrainian government with close ties to Russia and was on the infamous “Mirotvorets” (peacemakers) death list. Alleged “enemies of Ukraine” are listed on this list and some of their address details are published. Explosive: AUF1 editor-in-chief Stefan Magnet is also on the Ukrainian death list!
