A disturbing trend has emerged across countries with high mRNA vaccination rates, not the least in the United States, where infant mortality rates are surging at unprecedented levels. The data, drawn from official sources and independent analyses, paints a grim picture of a public health crisis that demands urgent attention.
A 2022 European Parliament query highlighted a 700-1,600% increase in child excess deaths based on data from euroMOMO. In the U.S. the National Center for Health Statistics offers insights into fertility, reproductive health, and mortality trends. Together with official data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) the statistics are highly concerning. After 30 years of a steady decline there is suddenly a sharp increase in fetal and infant deaths from Week 14, 2021, which coincides precisely with the widespread rollout of mRNA vaccines. Unlike the 2020 COVID-19 peak, which saw relatively stable infant mortality, the post-vaccination period has unleashed a wave of unexplained deaths, with causes aligning suspiciously with those seen in vaccinated populations. Children who were never vaccinated but whose mothers received mRNA injections, are dying at alarming rates, suggesting a huge transgenerational impact of mRNA technology. The mortality extends beyond any socioeconomic explanations, and raises serious doubt about the safety of this technology for pregnant women.
In Mississippi, the infant mortality rate skyrocketed to 9.7 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2024, the highest in over a decade, prompting a public health emergency declaration by state officials, as reported by ABC News on August 22, 2025. This marks a significant jump from 8.9 deaths per 1,000 in 2023, reversing a long-term decline that had been a cornerstone of public health progress. In these statistics black infants are disproportionately affected, with a mortality rate of 15.2 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2024, up from 12.3 the previous year.
The Mississippi State Department of Health attributes this rise to congenital malformations, low birth weight, sudden infant death syndrome, and premature births, compounded by socioeconomic factors like poverty and chronic illness. However, the timing of this surge, beginning in 2021 alongside the mass mRNA vaccination campaign, suggests a potential link that mainstream narratives attributing the increase solely to socioeconomic issues fail to address adequately.
In the U.S. overall, there is a notable increase in female infant mortality and a disproportionate impact on white babies, as detailed by Dr. Craig, a diagnostic pathologist. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and deaths of unknown cause have surged, with statistically momentous increases since 2021, contrasting with the stability seen up to 2020. The parallel causes of death between infants and vaccinated adults, including renal and neurological issues, further intensify the urgency of these findings. Craig has analyzed the CDC data comparing the fetus and infant mortality to different baseline trends, showing that these deaths cannot be dismissed as normal variations unless you change the baseline from earlier. She highlights that the increase in deaths so specifically started in April 2021, with a temporary decline in the 2021-2022 winter, followed by a return of elevated rates. Also, though both increases are starting at the same time, there is a significant rise in female infant deaths (1,523 excess) compared to male infant deaths (890 excess) between 2021-2023, suggesting a new pathology. More infants died also with a covid diagnosis but only first after the introduction of mRNA covid-19 vaccines. Dr Craig observes that black/Afro-Caribbean infants, who have higher overall mortality, did not see an increase post-2021, while white infants, white girls more than white boys, experienced this huge rise. She attributes the timing and pattern of these deaths to the introduction of mRNA injections for pregnant women starting in 2021, proposing this as the primary suspect.
The Ethical Skeptic published a study that points out an even more alarming statistic: up to a 77% excess death rate among children born to mRNA-vaccinated mothers since 2021. This figure emerges from a Deviation from Trend (DFT) analysis of CDC/NCHS death certificate data, showing the stark reversal of a 30-year decline in infant mortality. The excess deaths, concentrated in ages 0-4, are linked to cardiopulmonary and congenital issues, mirroring patterns observed in vaccinated adults.
The Ethical Sceptic adds another consideration: “But what most are missing, is that this mortality effect is creeping into the 2 – 4 ages bracket as each successive year of 0-12 month olds graduates into the next age bracket. In other words, it is NOT just the babies. It is the toddlers as well. In order to see this, one needs to adjust for ‘bracket drift’ (red highlighted dilation effect in most recent year).”
Nicholas Hulscher, MPH, comments on the study by The Ethical Sceptics and the 17,975 excess deaths among children aged 0-4 since the mRNA rollout in an article published in the Public Health Policy Journal. He writes: “a sharp, sustained rise in infant and child mortality among those who neither had COVID-19 nor received the vaccine, but whose parents were previously exposed to mRNA injections. The evidence points to two risks—teratogenic effects during pregnancy and transgenerational epigenetic effects passed through germline biology.” This crisis extends beyond the current generation, threatening the health of future children and grandchildren who never consented to the risks and represent a true historic public health crisis.
